As colleagues and partners, MDF, VNG International and Kadaster assist the ANDF with the optimisation of their work processes and the execution of a ‘Fit-for-Purpose’ approach for achieving national coverage of the land administration.
The Agence National du Domain et du Foncier (ANDF) is the government agency responsible for land administration in Benin. It was founded in 2016. Their mission is to set up a national, transparent, reliable and updated land information management system. Their objective is - among others - to confirm land rights and issue land titles and implement policies, strategies and programs of the Beninese State in terms of land and state property.
MDF (Management for Development Foundation) is a consultancy agency with more than 35 years of experience in providing project management support, training, advisory and evaluation services worldwide.. Their pool of experts around the world combines international quality standards with local knowledge and respond to their working realities. The tools and approaches they use are directly implementable. This way they empower individuals, organisations and networks to increase their positive social impact.
VNG International is the International Cooperation Agency of the Association of Netherlands Municipalities (VNG). Being part of VNG, one of the oldest and strongest local government associations in the world, their roots in local government are deep. It is second nature for them to work at both the technical and political level of local government.VNG International are experts in strengthening democratic local government in developing countries and countries in transition. Their projects contribute in a sustainable way to better futures for people, communities and countries.
The Netherlands’ Cadastre, Land Registry and Mapping Agency – in short Kadaster – collects and registers administrative and spatial data on property and the rights involved. Doing so, Kadaster protects legal certainty. They are also responsible for national cadastral and topographical mapping and maintenance of the national reference coordinate system. Furthermore, they are an advisory body for land-use issues and national spatial data infrastructures. Kadaster also carries out international activities. As an advisory body, they apply their knowledge of land registrations and geographic information in countries that have need for it.
